- Bucket of Baseball/Softballs
- Bucket Top or Home Plate
The biggest question we get when doing tee work, is where to place the tee.
The easiest way to determine where to place the tee when you are working on hitting the pitch down the middle, is using a home plate or the top of your baseball or softball bucket and placing the tee at the front of the plate about two inches and right in the middle.
You also want to make sure that when the hitter strides, that he/she is not striding past the tee. You want your stride foot to land even or a little bit behind the tee. This allows the hitter to make contact with the ball at the proper place in relation to their body and hands.
You want the hitter to make contact out in front of home plate and this also promotes proper extension. When the hitter gets in the game after working on this drill, he or she will let muscle memory take over and allow for solid contact and maximum distance on the pitch down the middle.
Don't Take Our Word For it! Here's What Our Customers Think:

“...I enjoyed the easy ordering process; it arrived expediently as well. Set up/take down is less than a minute (which is great when you're backed up on practice fields' schedules). I use it for tee work, of course; but I have used it for everything from outfielders hitting cutoffs to infielders throwing accuracy to pitchers working on pickoffs and starting double plays... ”

“I purchased your net with tee for my 12-year-old daughter. She plays travel softball and her coach has one similar. It's a quality product, easy up and down, storage bag is great for transporting too, even the tee fits in it. .. ”
