We are going to explain the bottom hand hitting drill. If you are right handed, this will be your left hand and if you are left handed, this will be your right hand.
You will start by resting your bat on your shoulder in a relaxed position. You will make sure that the hitter is relaxed and under control with their swing.
This drill should be done at 60%-70% effort for the hitter. You will be working on swinging down through the ball and getting extension after contact.
We always see young hitters swing around their body and not get extension out though the ball. The easiest way to explain this is talk about extend their bottom hand out through the pitcher or second base.
Your off hand should be in a relaxed position. You want to make sure that the hitter is keeping their hand tight to their body while the hand is moving to the ball and as your hand gets close to the ball it starts extending out toward the pitcher or second base.

“...I enjoyed the easy ordering process; it arrived expediently as well. Set up/take down is less than a minute (which is great when you're backed up on practice fields' schedules). I use it for tee work, of course; but I have used it for everything from outfielders hitting cutoffs to infielders throwing accuracy to pitchers working on pickoffs and starting double plays... ”

“I purchased your net with tee for my 12-year-old daughter. She plays travel softball and her coach has one similar. It's a quality product, easy up and down, storage bag is great for transporting too, even the tee fits in it. .. ”
